| Abby Normals online diary is one of the most interesting web diaries you will ever read, she is a former stripper and computer trainer who now works for a big faceless evil retail power (okay, I think they are all evil, but that's just me). Her husband is a photographer who works in landscapes and "wooo hooo" nudes. She has a lot of great ideas about life and I highly reccomend reading her thoughts, they will make you think. The diary is called abnormals anonymous. The current entry is here, but I reccomend hitting the older entries first. Summer
Mummers at the Yucca Theater in Midland Texas is one of the oldest
and most respected melodramas in the country. I had the privilege
of acting in Summer Mummers for 4 years, and hopefully will get to do so
again.
If you live in or visit west Texas you have to come see this annual play about a hero, a fair maiden, and the dastardly villain. Cheer the hero, boo the villain, and through popcorn at them all. Followed by a variety show with dancing girls for the guys, dancing guys for the girls, and vaudeville type acts. A great deal of fun for everyone. Oh' I was always one of the villain's sidekicks. Talk about type casting. |
