| Warning - Some members of my family and certain old friends will be shocked by who I am. All I can say to that is "Closed minds will be the death of the world." Well, that's not really all I could say, but it's the nicest thing I can say. I have decided not to be one of the millions who go through life hiding who they truly are, even from themselves. My
Full Legal Name is : Buddy James Fazzio Jr.
5 foot 11 inches tall, brown hair and blue eyes, left handed (actually ambidextrous)
I live in Midland Texas.
AIM Screenname: Fazzio540
Yahoo Screenname: Wildjourne
I was born in Farmington Michigan on January 29, 1967 at 4:00 AM making me 38 years old (Aquarius)
I graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Midland Texas in 1985. I have several years at Midland College, but no degree
I am involved in my local community via theater (I have been in several local productions, including A FEW GOOD MEN, THE FOREIGNER, and four years in SUMMER MUMMERS). I love Shakespeare and Shakespearean theater, though I have never been in a Shakespearean production. Currently I am doing plays with the Maverick Theater.
Occupation: Pet Care Manager at PetSmart.
My hobbies include: Racquetball, Tennis, Bowling, Dancing (Not country yet, but I'm willing to learn), Medieval Re-enactment and Sword fighting (Although I have not done it for several years), Cartooning, Writing Poetry and Science Fiction/Fantasy, Reading, Art, Painting miniatures, Theater (both being on-stage and watching a play), Computers, 80's rock and too many others to mention.
I am single. I would like for that to change someday, but I am getting very doubtful. The girl of my dreams always seems to be dreaming of somebody else. I could write essays on that subject, but I wont. I have written poetry on the subject though (way too much of it in fact). I have enough hobies to keep me busy though. I also have some of the best friends in the world. Sometimes I feel alone and get depressed but it's rare.
I
consider it my mission in life to make people laugh, and or think. I consider
myself something of a philosopher, but do not seek to influence others
with my beliefs (look where that got Socrates!).
I do want to present my views, but to provoke thought and discussion, not
to trample the beliefs of others.
I am not a Christian,
although I do believe in some kind of higher power I just do not know what
it is. If you wish to pray for my soul go right ahead,
but before you rush to tell me about it please carefully reread Paul's
letters to the Corinthians and examine your reason for letting me know
that you did so! I have read the bible cover to cover and just find
too many things I can not accept. I do however try to live by my own strict
code of ethics, and consider myself a modern knight errant (or
Wild Knight) looking for a world of my own
to protect. Also, unlike most people I am still looking and I am
still willing to listen.

Favorite Movies: Armageddon (KICKS SERIOUS ASS!) Practical Magic, LA Story, Say Anything ,Roxanne, Princess Bride

Favorite Actors: Steve Martin, John Cusak
Favorite Actresses: Liv Tyler (That Thing You Do, Armageddon), Tia Leoni (Bad Boys), Traci Lind (My Boyfriends Back)
Favorite TV Shows: The Daily Show, Celebrity Poker Showdown, Enterprise (cancelled), Firefly (Cancelled)
Favorite Bands: Journey, Styx, Rick Springfield, Asia, Scorpions, Pat Benetar, U2, and lots of other 80s rock and roll. (Rick Springfield and Survivor have some of the best lyrics ever written, honest! Stop looking at me that way) I also think Coldplay and Greenday rock!
Favorite Cartoons: The TICK, Family Guy, Southpark, Simpsons, really old Loony Tunes
Favorite Sports to Play: Racquetball, Tennis, Bowling, Medieval Sword Fighting
Favorite Sports to watch: None (I'll watch baseball and maybe even football with friends, and I like to see them live with friends, but if I have something better to do, or someone to spend time with, no way. I do love to watch the superbowl, but only with friends and really only to see the new commercials.)
Favorite Politcal Books: America the Book and anything by Al Franken
Favorite Sci-Fi Books: Heinlen's Stranger in a Strange Land (This book changed the way I think), and the Incarnations of Immortality series by Piers Anthony.
Wolf - 15 Year old Male
Pomeranian
Died Oct 19th 2001
I love animals. I currently have 6 dogs, 5 cats. 5 rats, a terrarium with 9 reptiles and amphibians and an aquarium. My dogs are named Digger, Scoundrel, Jezebel, Cleopatra, Domino and Fox. My cats are named Trouble, Chance, Jinx, Magic and Ace. I am looking for homes for Fox and Ace. Both young animals I recently found. Almost all of my canine and feline animals are rescued from the streets.
My first three rats were abandoned in a cage in the parking lot where I work. It was in the middle of december and freezing. I named them after the Three Amigos; Lucky, Dusty and Ned. Ned passed away recently, he never completely got over the pneumonia he developed when he was abandoned. I picked up two more rats later on a trip to Dallas. I named them Butch and Sundance. Just a few weeks ago I had two more dropped in my lap. I am looking for homes for them too.
The reptiles and fish are more like decorations that you feed. Watching and taking care of them is great stress relief but I am not going to name them.
They all get along. I have had two animals pass away recently - Wolf in 2001 (hit by a car) and Reckless in 2002 (kidney failure). I miss them and all my other animals that have passed on over the years.
I also really love kids, and would never sell them, even if my Doomsday Cult really needed the money. By the way, families looking for an excellent and educational hobby to do together really should check out the SCA. That's the medieval reenactment group also mentioned above.
I
do very much hope someday to have children, if I do I really hope that
they have ADD also. They don't even have to be mine, as long as they are
just a little bit warped and twisted.
I think I really wrote this page more for myself then anyone else, but anyway, now you know a little bit about me, probably too much. I consider myself living proof that a chivalrous, strong, caring, poetic, creative person can also be a "Twisted Pervert" (and happy about it). Now we both know a little more about me. So next time I do something really TWISTED maybe you'll be able to tell me why....
I'm really not sure who
the hell will read this weird little page about myself, but if you did,
let me know.... and more importantly, let me know why, by signing the guest
book below.
